Tray cable, UL Type TC and TC-ER, is a multiconductor cable approved by the NEC for installation in cable trays, raceways, and on support systems without requiring individual conduit. Rated 600V, it uses conductors in bare copper, tinned copper, and select thermocouple alloy pairs, with jackets built to resist moisture, chemicals, sunlight, and physical damage across a wide range of constructions.
