AAC (All Aluminum Conductor) is a bare stranded conductor made from 1350-H19 aluminum, offering high conductivity, light weight, and corrosion resistance at a lower cost than steel-reinforced alternatives. It has lower tensile strength than ACSR, making it best suited for overhead lines in areas with minimal wind or ice loading.
Used for overhead power distribution where span lengths and mechanical loading are moderate.
