GTO-15 cable, also called gas tube or ignition cable, is a single-conductor, 15kV rated cable built for neon sign wiring and oil burner ignition systems. It uses a bare copper conductor with heavy PVC insulation, rated to UL 814, and is built to endure harsh environments where high dielectric strength in a compact single-conductor package is needed.
Used to carry high-voltage, low-current signals from neon sign transformers to the tubing, and from ignition transformers to burner electrodes in oil-fired heating equipment.
