Belden VFD cable is a shielded multi-conductor power cable designed for wiring runs between variable frequency drives and the motors they control. XLPE insulation handles the elevated voltage stress from drive-generated switching pulses, while triple-shield construction combining foil, braid, and a bare copper drain wire provides a low-impedance ground return path for common-mode noise. Both bare copper and tinned copper conductor options are available, rated to 90°C in most configurations, with UL and CSA listings depending on the series.
Suitable for motor lead connections in manufacturing equipment, pumps, compressors, conveyors, and other variable-speed drive installations where NEC compliance and long-term insulation integrity are requirements.
