Belden 9940 22/4C RS-232 Computer EIA Cable TC Shielded CMG SR-PVC/PVC 300V Chrome

This 22 AWG multi-conductor cable supports EIA RS-232 data transmission, computer communications, and low-voltage analog and digital control applications. It features 4 stranded tinned copper conductors insulated with Semi-Rigid Polyvinyl Chloride (SR-PVC) for stable electrical performance. The cable is shielded with an overall Beldfoil® shield (100% coverage) and a 65% coverage tinned copper braid. The overall construction is enclosed in a PVC jacket for indoor CMG-rated installations.

Applications

9940 is designed for RS-232 applications; computer communications; low voltage analog signals (4-20mA, 0-10V, ...); low voltage digital control (24V, …); line level audio; panel wiring.
