Description
This 24 AWG multi-conductor cable supports EIA RS-232/423 data transmission, computer communications, and low-voltage analog and digital control applications. It features twenty five stranded tinned copper conductors insulated with Datalene® (foam polyethylene) for stable electrical performance. The cable is shielded with an overall Beldfoil® shield (100% coverage) and a 65% coverage tinned copper braid, along with a 24 AWG stranded tinned copper drain wire to provide effective grounding and reduce susceptibility to external electromagnetic interference. The overall construction is enclosed in a PVC jacket for indoor CM-rated installations.
