Belden 9808 28/7P RS-232/422 Low Cap Cable TC Shielded CL2 PP/PVC 30V Chrome

This 28 AWG multi-pair cable supports EIA RS-232/422 data transmission and digital audio applications. It features seven twisted pairs of stranded tinned copper conductors insulated with polypropylene (PP) for stable electrical performance. The cable is shielded with an overall Beldfoil® shield (100% coverage) and a 90% coverage tinned copper braid, along with a 28 AWG drain wire to provide effective grounding and reduce susceptibility to external electromagnetic interference. The overall construction is enclosed in a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) jacket and is rated for CL2 installations.

9808 is designed for RS-232 extended distance applications; RS-422 applications; computer communications; low voltage analog signals (4-20ma, 0-10v, ...); low voltage digital control (24v, …); line level audio; panel wiring.
