Belden 9540 24/10C RS-232 Computer Cable TC Shielded CMG SR-PVC/PVC 300V Chrome

This 24 AWG multi-conductor shielded cable is used for audio, control, and EIA RS-232 computer applications. Designed for low-speed serial data exchange between computers, terminals, and peripherals, it features ten stranded tinned copper conductors with semi-rigid PVC insulation for high crush resistance and electrical stability. An overall Beldfoil® shield (100% coverage) and a 24 AWG drain wire provide protection against EMI, while a chrome PVC jacket ensures durability in indoor environments.

Applications

9540 is designed for RS-232 applications; computer communications; low voltage analog signals (4-20mA, 0-10V, ...); low voltage digital control (24V, ...); line level audio; panel wiring.
