Belden 89728 24/4P RS-232/422 Low Cap Cable TC Individual Shielded CMP FEP/PVDF 300V Gray

This 24 AWG multi-pair cable supports EIA RS-232/422 data transmission and digital audio applications. It features 4 twisted pairs of stranded tinned copper conductors insulated with foam FEP (Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene). Each pair is individually shielded with Beldfoil® (100% coverage) and includes a 24 AWG drain wire with each pair to provide effective grounding and reduce crosstalk. The overall construction is enclosed in a PVDF (Polyvinylidene Fluoride) jacket for indoor use.

Applications

89728 is designed for extreme high temperature environments; RS-232 extended distance applications; RS-422 applications; computer communications; low voltage analog signals (4-20ma, 0-10v, ...); low voltage digital control (24v, …); digital audio; panel wiring.

• 24 AWG stranded (7x32) tinned copper drain wire (one per pair)
• Gray PVDF (Polyvinylidene Fluoride) outer jacket
