Belden 88104 24/4P RS-232/422 Low Cap Cable TC Shielded CMP FFEP/PVDF 300V Gray

This 24 AWG multi-pair cable supports EIA RS-232/422 data transmission and digital audio applications. It features four twisted pairs of stranded tinned copper conductors insulated with foam fluorinated ethylene propylene (FFEP) to provide low capacitance and stable electrical performance. The cable is shielded with an overall Beldfoil® shield (100% coverage) and includes a 24 AWG drain wire to provide effective grounding and reduce susceptibility to external electromagnetic interference. The overall construction is enclosed in a polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) jacket and is rated for plenum (CMP) installations.

Applications

88104 is designed for extreme high temperature environments; rs-232 extended distance applications; rs-422 applications; computer communication; low voltage analog signals (4-20ma, 0-10v, ...); low voltage digital control (24v, …); line level audio; panel wiring.
