Description
This 16 AWG multi-conductor cable is a 300V PLTC/CL3P-rated solution designed for high-temperature thermocouple extension in industrial environments. As a Type JX thermocouple extension cable, it utilizes stranded iron and constantan extension-grade conductors to extend signals from Type J thermocouples while maintaining thermal accuracy.
The conductors are protected by Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene (FEP) insulation and an overall Beldfoil® shield (100% coverage) to prevent EMI interference, and include an 22 AWG tinned copper drain wire for grounding. The exterior is protected by a black FEP jacket that is sunlight-resistant and suitable for installation in plenums, raceways, and cable trays where a plenum-rated thermocouple extension cable is required.

83951 is designed for industrial control, raceways cable trays and ducts, digital control, instruments (4-20ma, 0-10v, ...), low voltage digital control (24v, …), encoders, control circuits, distributed control.
