Belden 83950 20/1P JX Thermocouple Extension Cable Shielded CL3P/PLTC FEP/FEP 300V Black

This 20 AWG multi-conductor cable is a 300V PLTC/CL3P-rated solution designed for precise temperature measurement in high-heat industrial environments. As a Type JX thermocouple extension cable, it utilizes stranded iron and constantan extension-grade conductors to extend signals from Type J thermocouples while maintaining thermal accuracy.

The conductors are protected by Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene (FEP) insulation and an overall tri-laminate (aluminum-polyester-aluminum) shield, which provides enhanced reliability and flex life compared to standard shielding. It also includes a 22 AWG stranded (7x30) tinned copper drain wire for grounding. The exterior is protected by a chemical and sunlight-resistant black FEP jacket, making it suitable for plenum spaces and harsh environments.

83950 is designed for industrial control, raceways cable trays and ducts, digital control, instruments (4-20ma, 0-10v, ...), low voltage digital control (24v, …), encoders, control circuits, distributed control.
