Belden 82841 24/1P RS-485 Low Cap Cable TC Shielded CMP FEP/PVC 300V Natural

This 24 AWG 1 twisted pair RS-485 cable is a 120-ohm, 300V CMP-rated industrial data bus cable built for dependable serial communication in electrically noisy environments and over long distances. The stranded tinned-copper conductors are insulated with FEP and twisted to maintain balanced impedance for RS-485 networks.

Beldfoil® is Belden’s patented aluminum/polyester bi-laminate foil shield that provides 100% coverage. This full-coverage foil, working together with the overall 90% tinned-copper braid and the tinned-copper drain wire, improves resistance to EMI/RFI while preserving flexibility for industrial routing.

Applications

82841 is designed for RS-485, POS; computer communications; low voltage analog signals (4–20ma, 0–10v, ...); low voltage digital control (24v, ...); line level audio; panel wiring; serial communication (RS-485 standard) comprising of PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, motors, RTU, SCADA, etc. within noisy environments over long distance, etc.
