Belden 8132 28/2P RS-232/485 Low Cap Cable TC Shielded CL2 Datalene PE/PVC 30V Chrome

This 28 AWG multi-pair cable supports EIA RS-232/485 data transmission, computer communications, and low-voltage analog and digital control applications. It features two twisted pairs of stranded tinned copper conductors insulated with Datalene® (foam polyethylene) for stable electrical performance. The cable is shielded with an overall Beldfoil® shield (100% coverage) and a 65% coverage tinned copper braid, along with a 28 AWG drain wire to provide effective grounding and reduce susceptibility to external electromagnetic interference. The overall construction is enclosed in a PVC jacket and is rated for CL2 installations.

8132 is designed for RS-232 extended distance applications; RS-485 applications; computer communications; low voltage analog signals (4-20ma, 0-10v, ...); low voltage digital control (24v, …); line level audio; panel wiring.
