Description
This DataTuff® cable is a high-performance 100 MHz Category 5e shielded and foiled with unshielded twisted pair (SF/UTP) cable, featuring four bonded pair of 24 AWG solid bare copper conductors insulated with Polyolefin (PO), Beldfoil® plus tinned copper braid shield with drain wire, and a PVC outer jacket.
As a DataTuff cable, it is specifically engineered for maximum reliability in harsh industrial environments, offering superior resistance to sunlight and oil. Its dual rating of CMR (Riser) and CMX-Outdoor makes it suitable for both vertical indoor runs and exposed outdoor installations.
Belden supplies this cable on a standard crate pay-off reel, meaning it’s wound on a rigid spool that you place on a reel stand or jacks so the cable can rotate and feed out smoothly and evenly as you pull it into place.
Applications
7957A is designed for noisy environments, outdoor, in cabinet with high volt devices, such as motor control center, harsh environments, IIoT, factory or process automation, IP cameras and devices, data communication, etc.
