Belden 3105A Multi-Conductor - EIA Industrial RS-485 PLTC/CM 22/1P TC DATALENE/PVC SHLD

This 22 AWG 1 twisted pair RS-485 cable is a 120-ohm, 300V UL-rated instrumentation/data cable built for reliable performance in industrial and other harsh environments. The construction meets EIA (Electronic Industries Alliance) requirements for balanced data cabling, and the stranded tinned-copper conductors are insulated with Belden’s Datalene® foam polyethylene.

This special Datalene formulation is intended for computer and data transmission, keeping the core lightweight while supporting stable electrical performance across a wide temperature range and under mechanical pressure.

Beldfoil® is Belden’s patented aluminum/polyester bi-laminate foil shield that provides 100% coverage around the core pair. This full-coverage foil, working together with the overall 65% tinned-copper braid and the tinned-copper drain wire, improves resistance to EMI/RFI in electrically noisy spaces while preserving the flexibility needed for routine industrial routing.
