Description
This DeviceNet™ Thin cable is a 300V composite solution for industrial automation and power. The hybrid design features a 24 AWG shielded data pair with Foam FPE insulation for high signal velocity, alongside a 22 AWG shielded power pair with durable PVC insulation. Both pairs are individually foil-shielded and protected by an overall 65% tinned copper braid for superior EMI/RFI resistance. The assembly is finished with a sunlight- and oil-resistant gray PVC jacket suitable for trays, conduits, and harsh environments.
Applications
3084A is designed for harsh environment, ODVA device-level communication, used with CIP (common Industrial Protocol) for control, configuration, and data collection between devices, such as sensors and actuators, and higher level devices such as PLC, and PC in industrial automation, bus topology, etc.

- 1 pair of 22 AWG stranded (19x34) tinned copper conductors (power)
- PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) insulation, red and black (power)
- 1 pair of 24 AWG stranded (19x36) tinned copper conductors (data)
- FPE (Foam Polyethylene) insulation, blue and white (data)
- Individual Beldfoil® tape on each pair plus an overall tinned copper braid (65% coverage)
- 22 AWG stranded (19x34) tinned copper drain wire
- Gray PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) outer jacket
