Belden 3082F 15/1P-18/1P DeviceBus High Flex Cable TC I/O Shield CMG/PLTC PVC/FPE/PVC 300V Gray

This DeviceBus® for ODVA DeviceNet™ High Flex Thick cable is a 300V composite cable for industrial automation and power applications. It features an 18 AWG shielded data pair with Foam FPE insulation and a 15 AWG shielded power pair with PVC insulation. Both pairs are individually Beldfoil® shielded, protected by an overall 65% tinned copper braid, and enclosed in a gray sunlight- and oil-resistant PVC jacket for reliable performance in harsh environments.

Applications

3082F is designed for harsh environment, ODVA device-level communication, used with CIP (Common Industrial Protocol) for control, configuration, and data collection between devices, such as sensors and actuators, and higher level devices such as PLC, and PC in industrial automation, bus topology, etc.

Construction

• 1 pair of 15 AWG stranded (65x33) tinned copper conductors (power)
• PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) insulation, red and black (power)
• 1 pair of 18 AWG stranded (65x36) tinned copper conductors (data)
• FPE (Foam Polyethylene) insulation, blue and white (data)
• Individual Beldfoil® tape on each pair (100% coverage) plus an overall tinned copper braid (65% coverage)
• 18 AWG stranded (65x36) tinned copper drain wire
• Gray PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) outer jacket
