Description
This 12 AWG 3-conductor VFD motor supply tray cable (TC-ER, WTTC) features a 300% ground design with an insulated ground plus a tinned copper drain, making it a robust solution for variable frequency drive installations where superior grounding and noise control are critical.
Belden’s overall Beldfoil® + tinned copper braid shield combines 100% coverage with an 85% tinned copper braid, helping contain EMI and RFI while providing a low-impedance path to ground for improved VFD performance and reduced motor shaft voltage issues.
The Exposed Run (TC-ER) rating means this cable meets crush and impact requirements, so it can be installed outside of a cable tray without continuous mechanical protection, unlike standard tray cables that must be enclosed in conduit, raceway, or similar protective systems.
