This 18 gauge 1 conductor shipboard precision video cable is a coaxial multimedia cable. It has a gas injected FHDPE insulation, which is a foam high density polyethylene and a Duofoil shield with a LSZH jacket. The Duofoil shield, made of an aluminum/polyester/aluminum laminate, covers the core of the cable and provides a 100% coverage. This shield protects the conductor from noise interference, gives extra insulation, is light-weight, and sturdy. On top of that is a tinned copper braid shield that gives 95% coverage for even greater protection. Some applications for this cable include: audio, video, CCTV, CATV, MATV, and broadband.
