Belden 1618A Coax - CATV Cable 14 AWG GIFHDLDPE DBSH LDPE Black

This 14 gauge 1 conductor CATV cable is a coaxial multimedia cable. It is made of a bare copper covered steel conductor with a gas injected foam PE insulation, a Duobond IV shield, and a PE jacket. The Duobond IV quad combination shield is made of a bonded aluminum/polyester/aluminum tri-laminate that covers the core of the cable and provides a 100% coverage. On top of that is an aluminum braid shield that gives 60% coverage with greater protection from noise interference and increases tensile strength. There is then another layer of aluminum/polyester/aluminum tri-laminate with 100% coverage and another aluminum braid shield with 40% coverage. This quad shield gives an extra braid shield layer for more durability and strength.
