Description
This 16 AWG 12 twisted pair power limited tray cable (PLTC) is an instrumentation and control cable. It features stranded bare copper conductors, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) insulation, individual Beldfoil® shield with each pair, overall Beldfoil® shield, and a PVC outer jacket with ripcord. It has an additional non-shielded 22 AWG communication conductor and is UL rated CMG, ITC, and PLTC. Suitable for indoor, outdoor, and burial applications
Beldfoil® is Belden’s patented aluminum/polyester shield that delivers 100% coverage to block EMI and RFI, providing lightweight, flexible protection for clear signal transmission in audio, control, and data cables.
Applications
1495A is designed for use in industrial control, raceways, cable trays and ducts, digital control, instruments (4-20ma, 0-10v, ...), low voltage digital control (24v, …), encoders, control circuits, distributed control systems (DCS), programmable logic controllers (PLC), solenoids, valves, actuators and positioners.

- 16 AWG stranded (7x24) bare copper conductors
- 12 twisted pairs: black, white and numbered
- 22 AWG stranded (7x30) single bare copper communication conductor, orange
- Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) insulation
- Individual Beldfoil® bi-laminate (alum + poly) shield (100% coverage)
- 18 AWG (7x26) tinned copper drain wire with inner shield
- Overall Beldfoil® bi-laminate (alum + poly) shield (100% coverage)
- 16 AWG (7x24) tinned copper drain wire with outer shield
- Black Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) jacket
