Belden 1424A 24/12.5P RS-232/422 Low Cap Cable TC Shielded CM Datalene PE/PVC 300V Chrome

This 24 AWG multi-pair cable supports EIA RS-232/422 data transmission and digital audio applications. It features twelve twisted pairs and one single conductor (12.5P) of stranded tinned copper insulated with Datalene® for stable electrical performance. The cable is shielded with an overall Beldfoil® shield (100% coverage) and includes a 24 AWG drain wire to provide effective grounding and reduce susceptibility to external electromagnetic interference. The overall construction is enclosed in a PVC jacket for indoor use.

Applications

1424A is designed for RS-232 extended distance applications; RS-423 applications; computer communications; low voltage analog signals (4-20ma, 0-10v, ...); low voltage digital control (24v, …); line level audio; panel wiring.
