Belden 1083A 20/4TR-22/1C 300V Power-Limited Tray Cable BC I/O Shield PLTC/ITC/CMG PVC/PVC Black

This 20 AWG 4 twisted triad power limited tray cable (PLTC) is an instrumentation and control cable. It features stranded bare copper conductors, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) insulation, individual Beldfoil® shield with each pair, overall Beldfoil® shield, and a PVC outer jacket with ripcord. It has an additional non-shielded 22 AWG communication conductor and is UL rated CMG, ITC, and PLTC. Suitable for indoor and outdoor applications.  

Beldfoil® is Belden’s patented aluminum/polyester shield that delivers 100% coverage to block EMI and RFI, providing lightweight, flexible protection for clear signal transmission in audio, control, and data cables.

Applications

1083A is designed for use in industrial control, raceways, cable trays and ducts, digital control, instruments (4-20ma, 0-10v, ...), low voltage digital control (24v, …), encoders, control circuits, distributed control systems (DCS), programmable logic controllers (PLC), solenoids, valves, actuators and positioners.

Construction

• 20 AWG stranded (7x28) bare copper conductors
• 4 twisted triad: black, white, red and numbered
• 22 AWG stranded (7x30) single bare copper communication conductor, orange
• Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) insulation
• Inner Beldfoil® bi-laminate (alum + poly) shield (100% coverage) with each triad
• 22 AWG (7x30) tinned copper drain wire with inner shield
• Overall Beldfoil® bi-laminate (alum + poly) shield (100% coverage)
• 20 AWG (7x28) tinned copper drain wire with outer shield
• Black Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) jacket
