Belden 1018A 16/1P KX Thermocouple Extension Cable Shielded CMG/ITC/PLTC PVC/PVC 300V Yellow

This 16 AWG multi-conductor cable is a 300V PLTC/ITC rated solution designed for precise temperature measurement in industrial environments. As a type KX thermocouple extension cable, it utilizes solid chromel and alumel conductors to extend signals from type K thermocouples to recording instruments while maintaining thermal accuracy. The cable is protected by an overall Beldfoil® shield (100% coverage) to prevent EMI interference and includes an 18 AWG tinned copper drain wire for simplified grounding. The overall build is finished with a sunlight-resistant yellow PVC jacket, making it suitable for cable trays, raceways, and outdoor use.

Applications

1018A is designed for industrial control, raceways cable trays and ducts, digital control, instruments (4-20ma, 0-10v, ...), low voltage digital control (24v, …), thermocouple, distributed control system (DCS), programmable logic controller (PLC).
