Description
This 18 AWG 8 twisted triad tray cable (TC), is a 600V UL-rated instrumentation and control cable with drains and individual/overall Beldfoil shield.
Beldfoil is Belden’s patented aluminum/polyester shield that delivers 100% coverage to block EMI and RFI, providing lightweight, flexible protection for clear signal transmission in audio, control, and data cables.
The Exposed Run (ER) rating on this cable means it meets crush and impact testing requirements, and is therefore tough enough to run outside a cable tray without additional protection, unlike standard tray cables which must be installed inside a conduit, raceway or other protection.
Applications
Designed for use in industrial control, raceways, cable trays and ducts, digital control, instruments (4-20ma, 0-10v, ...),low voltage digital control (24v, …), encoders, control circuits and distributed control.

- 18 AWG stranded (7x26) bare copper conductors
- 8 twisted triad, black, white, red
- Polyvinyl Chloride and Nylon (PVC-NYL) insulation
- Inner Beldfoil shield (100% coverage) with each triad
- 22 AWG stranded (7x30) tinned copper drain wire with inner shield
- Overall Beldfoil shield (100% coverage)
- 22 AWG (7x30) tinned copper drain wire with outer shield
- Black Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) jacket
