Description
This 350 MCM gauge 3 conductor VFD cable is rated to 2 KV and has a performing temperature of 90°C. VFD stands for Variable Frequency Drive and is a cable that is used to detect frequencies and reduce voltage spikes within a variable frequency drive controller. This protects the drive and its internal components so there is no chance of a failure or damage to equipment. This cable has stranded bare copper conductors and ICEA Method 4 color coding for the Cross Linked Polyethylene (XLP) insulation. Three grounding wires, one for each conductor, and an overall copper tape shield that reduces electromagnetic interference noise with a PVC jacket. Some applications for this VFD cable include industrial motion control, commercial flow/pump, and extrusion applications.
