Description
This 12 AWG 3 conductor UL MC-HL armored cable is a power cable that is rugged and has a long term cable performance. This cable has 3 grounds that are 16 gauge to help with problems that could arise with pulse-width modulated AC drives. It has a CCW (Continuously Corrugated Welded) construction with an aluminum strip formed into a circle lengthwise and then welded at the seam. To prevent twisting while bending the tube is then grooved to add ridges. CCW creates an impermeable seal against moisture and other chemicals. It is suitable for a broad range of industrial application environments such as instrumentation, control, communication and power distributions, as well as offering electromagnectic benefits.
Applications:
- Use on power or control circuits
- Installed in a cable tray, wire ways, racks, or buried directly
- Cable has three symmetrically placed grounds to reduce problems associated with pulse-width modulated AC drives
- Suitable for VFD applications
- Suitable for exposure to hazardous locations
- Type MC-HL for Classes I, II, and III Division I and II
